Rain

Well winter has arrived early 13 days of rain but very little in the dams almost like our Caloundra trip. We are considering putting Sami Sahara out to Pasture & investing in smaller, later model .

Caravan & camping show

Well after the Easter Show it was the Caravan show, all the new vans on show camping gear & all associated bits & pieces. We wer lucky that we where able to catch up with 2 of our hosts when we had trouble on last trip. Peter & Jill from Cania Gorge & Leeanne fro Innot hot springs. It was great to see them again.
This also gives people achance to check out all the new innovations in Caravan, camping & holiday destinations

Show time

Well we are home from our House sitting duties & things have been hectic we are in the middle of Show time.
First the Easter show which gives country people a chance to show off their animals & produce. Also show jumping & other entertainment. We went on one of the seniors days (well we are fossils), a great concert band performed as well as young dancers. Daredevils entertained a large crowd with "Danger man & Dangerwoman doing a highwire on a motor bike, bikes jumping (like the Crusty Demons) & utes being put through their paces high speed tricks Juping over other Utes etc.
Country district Exhibits were great even though the county is still in drought. The kids weren't left outwith rides & show bags
